2️⃣ Hiring Manager’s Network

✅ People they’ve worked with before, in their LinkedIn network, or who’ve reached out directly.


3️⃣ Internal Referrals

✅ Employees vouching for you - your CV jumps ahead of cold applicants.


4️⃣ Cold Applications

✅ Least priority. This is where 80% of candidates end up.


💡 Action Plan: Don’t just submit your CV also network.


Reach out to at least 5 people at the company (recruiter, hiring manager, or employees in your target department).


Aim for referrals or connections to get into the top 3 buckets.
