❌ Is your resume longer than one page?

That might be the reason recruiters aren’t calling you back. The truth is, recruiters spend just 6–10 seconds skimming a CV before deciding whether to read further. If your resume looks like an essay, it’s game over before it even starts.

Here’s how to fix it and create a resume recruiters actually want to read 👇

1️⃣ Stick to One PageYour career journey may be meaningful to you, but recruiters don’t want your full story. They want impact, not autobiography. Keep it short, sharp, and to the point.

2️⃣ Highlight Quantifiable AchievementsForget long descriptions of responsibilities. Instead, showcase results that can be measured: revenue growth, cost savings, process improvements, and targets achieved. Numbers always speak louder than words.

3️⃣ Prioritize Relevant RolesYou don’t need to list every job you’ve ever had. Focus on the positions that matter most to the role you’re applying for. Lead with your strongest and most recent experience.

4️⃣ Showcase Technical Skills, Not Soft SkillsRecruiters aren’t impressed by vague phrases like “hardworking” or “team player.” Replace them with real, job-specific technical skills that prove your expertise.

5️⃣ Use Clean Formatting ✔ Correct alignment & font size ✔ No tables, columns, or graphics ✔ Keep it to a maximum of 4 bullet points per job

✨ A resume isn’t about telling your story - it’s about proving your value in the fastest way possible. Give recruiters a reason to say yes in those 6–10 seconds.
